If you want to ramp up your Ceylon Cinnamon black tea add some orange peel and honey. Adding orange gives Cinnamon a deep flavor. Try it and see if you like it.
Prep Time : 5 Minutes
Cook Times : 8 minutes
Yield : 2 cups
INGREDIENTS
Notes :
1. Because our Cinnamon Tea is a high quality Ceylon tea made with 100% real Cinnamon Bark Oil you could actually make 2-3 cups of tea in a tea pot with one tea bag. Try it and see if you like it that way and whether you prefer to use one tea bag per cup, but we feel that would be too strong.
2. Staining - Remember if you drink tea or coffee everyday (especially without milk) it will stain your teeth. So it is best you brush your teeth or rinse your mouth with water to prevent stain build up but it stains far less than coffee.
3. Extra water - Note we add an extra half a cup of water to make 2 cups. This is because boiling will evaporate some of the water and some will be absorbed by the tea bag. So always put a little extra water when making tea.
4. Tap water or spring water - You can use plain tap water to make your tea, but the taste of the tea will degrade by about 10% when you do that.
5. Amount of orange peel - There is a temptation to add more orange peel since orange sizes differ. If you did this, the taste will will get an overtly orange taste and the aroma and taste of Cinnamon will be dulled. The idea is add just a hint of orange to create a wonderful aroma and sophisticated taste.
