Try this Cinnamon Cauliflower soup with a dash of Ceylon Cinnamon, cashew nuts and garnished with Pork Belly, Thyme and a sliver of Olive oil.
If you are on a Keto diet it can get difficult to create high fat, medium protein and low carb recipes. So we created this lovely creamy Cauliflower soup. We added Cashew nuts for a healthy dose of fat. And we added some Crispy Pork Belly from one of our previous recipes for some added fat.
We put in only 1/2 tsp of Ceylon Cinnamon powder which is just right we feel. But you can add a little bit more if you are on a Keto diet to get ruduce any stomach bloating common with the Keto diet and digest fat bacteria. We didn't want to make it too thick hence the addition of of water. This is just right we think.

WHY CEYLON CINNAMON
Unlike ordinary Cassia Cinnamon you find in the stores, Ceylon Cinnamon has low Coumarin levels, so it won't damage your liver, especially if you are a regular Cinnamon tea drinker. Besides Ceylon Cinnamon is mild, yet slightly sweeter. It is not spicy like store bought Cassia Cinnamon, but has hints of cloves and citrus with wonderful subtle aroma.
Ceylon Cinnamon is subtle and adds to create a more complex flavors. You would never know there is Ceylon Cinnamon in this dish, unlike Cassia Cinnamon which tends to be harsh and immediately makes its presence felt and often ruins the recipe.
