If you got spiders in your house Ceylon Cinnamon leaf oil will escort them out. Cinnamon Oil is a non toxic way to get spiders to move out. While Cinnamon Oil will not kill spiders, the powerful aroma of Ceylon Cinnamon Leaf will make them flee. Of course if you spray 100% Cinnamon it will kill the spiders, but why waste your Cinnamon Oil and when you can use a fraction of Cinnamon Oil diluted to 1% to get them to move. Cinnanon is also use useful to repel most other insects too, especially ants.
AUTUMN IS SPIDER MATING SEASON
Autumn (Fall) is the spider mating season and your house offers a cozy place with food and water. The female spin intricate webs while the males move around looking for a mate. Most spiders are harmless and rather useful to get rid of small insects in the house but a few can be dangerous or freak out people especially when they crawl into bed with you. So the trick is to clean up the house and outdoor area first and then spray the diluted Cinnamon Oil. If you are lazy you can just spray Cinnamon Oil but when you eventually clean up certain areas later, you have to spray the areas again. Better to clean up first, spray and just relax.
CLEAN UP OUTDOOR FIRST
Start by cleaning up your outdoor area. Pressure wash (you can rent a pressure washer from a hardware store like Home Depot) your patio, entrance like doors and windows and immediate surrounding area around the house.
Clean up sheds, wood piles. compost heaps, storage boxes and trim branches that touch the house. Cleaning up the out door area first makes the Cinnamon Oil more effective. With a clean slate you are more likely to deter the spiders. If you spray with the cob web already in place they can still hide and worse flee to your house faster.
Once you have cleaned up the outside, use a pump spray to mix the Ceylon Cinnamon leaf oil and spray around doorways, windows and other entry points to the house. Then spray outdoor storage boxes, sheds, planter boxes, patio umbrellas, fences and any place the spiders can hide.

WHY CEYLON CINNAMON
Unlike ordinary Cassia Cinnamon you find in the stores, Ceylon Cinnamon has low Coumarin levels, so it won't damage your liver, especially if you are a regular Cinnamon tea drinker. Besides Ceylon Cinnamon is mild, yet slightly sweeter. It is not spicy like store bought Cassia Cinnamon, but has hints of cloves and citrus with wonderful subtle aroma.
Ceylon Cinnamon is subtle and adds to create a more complex flavors. You would never know there is Ceylon Cinnamon in this dish, unlike Cassia Cinnamon which tends to be harsh and immediately makes its presence felt and often ruins the recipe.
