Cinnamon Meat Loaf

Try this new twist on the classic meat loaf recipe with Ceylon Cinnamon, Almond flour and red bell pepper. Designed top be keto diet friendly, served on a bed of fresh crispy lettuce. Adds a lovely savory taste your dull keto meals.

We did not want to complicate this dish with tomato sauce. You can  add 1 tsp. dried Basil and thyme too if you wish. If you have not used hot Hungarian Paprika you must try it. Combined with Ceylon Cinnamon powder it is fantastic.

Our Ceylon Cinnamon powder and this Bende Hungarian Paprika is what we call high quality spices that makes your recipe come alive. Instead of using a conventional rectangle deep dish baking pan we used a cookie tray. Makes it easier to serve even portions. Besides we could not find out meat loaf pan so this was perfect.

  • 1lb ground beef
  • 1 medium yellow onion
  • 1 red Bell pepper cut into small pieces
  • 1 tbsp. Almond flower
  • 1 egg
  • 1 tsp. Ceylon Cinnamon powder
  • 1 tsp. hot Hungarian Paprika
  • 1 tsp. dried Parsley
  • 1 tsp. minced garlic
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper
  • 1 tsp. salt (For the Keto recipe dieters add another 1/2 tsp)
  • Lettuce leaf for garnish
  1. Mix the ingredients together.
  2. Lightly oil the cookie pan with oil so it won't stick to the pan.
  3. Fill and press the mixed ground beef into the cookie pan. Our cookie pan made six pieces. Enough for 2 meals.
  4. Bake on 350 degree Fahrenheit for 30 minutes.
  5. Serve on a bed of lettuce leaves with a 1/2 cup of cooked rice (for Keto dieters 1/2 cup of cooked rice equals to 22 grams of cab rob hydrates according to Livestrong which is just right for the keto diet.
